Whilst most of the racing team were away at Gailey and Cambridge, we had 2 representatives at the Elmbridge Assessment Race. Racing over 20 km against the best marathon paddlers in the country, Lewis Smith and Patrick Mongan had respectable finishes in the junior section of 16th and 17th.

Although out of region, the Oliver family represented Lincoln at the Cambridge marathon.

After dodging punts and several portages, David gained 2nd place in Div 2 and Matt a 2nd in Div 3 (Both excellent results against a strong Eastern Region).

Richard finished 11th in Div 5 and Laurence 14th in Div 6.

Evan Oliver finished 3rd in the run with Louis Brierton 4th.

There was a good battle between James an...

11 of our juniors turned out for the annual K4 challenge this Saturday. This did mean we only had 2 competitive boats but everyone took part with thanks going to Paul Banfield for filling the spare seat to get the 3rd boat out.

The crews were decided upon and after some brief discussions, the seats decided.

In boat 1, Lewis Andrews took the front seat, Conor Simmons in 2, Sophia Fernandez in 3 and Louis Greenwood in the back seat.

In boat 2, Alexander Riley took the front seat, Louis Brierton in 2, Izzy Fernandez in 3 and Millie Pepper in the back.
