Devizes to Westminster Race Update

Gary Carter and Steve Gardner took part in this year’s Devizes to Westminster Canoe Race. Due to heavy floods and dangerous conditions on the Thames the through race for K2 Doubles was terminated at Dreadnought, Reading on the Saturday evening. The crew had paddled 54 Miles in a time of 10:36:49. Gary and Steve were pleased with the paddle despite the disappointment of the cancellation. Their preparation and training had been excellent and they were up to speed on their estimated timetable at the point of cancellation
