The clubs 6 Mile K4 Challenge took place yesterday with 2 Teams competing, In Boat 1 were Joe, Abbie, Mike and Laurence, in Boat 2 were Nicole, Andy, Oliver and Paul. And the winners were Nicole, Andy, Oliver and Paul. Well done.

11 of our juniors turned out for the annual K4 challenge this Saturday. This did mean we only had 2 competitive boats but everyone took part with thanks going to Paul Banfield for filling the spare seat to get the 3rd boat out. Cold and windy conditions made the penultimate Feathered Blade event of 2017 very challenging, especially on the Brayford where the wind was very gusty and funnelled under the road bridge. Unsurprisingly, no records were set and most paddlers received a reduction in their handicaps. The Three Mile event is pretty well sewn up with Lewis Andrews having an unbeatable lead.
